Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse Coming to Prime Video

An exclusive sneak peek, the low-down on the cast, and more

In my family, Tom Clancy is king. We had an unspoken family book club where we’d pass around our favorite reads and chat about them during get-togethers, and Tom Clancy books were always a hit (my grandpa is big on spy and military reads). When Prime Video announced the upcoming release of Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse on April 30th, the family group text exploded with predictions and excitement.

What really got *me* buzzing though as a Tom Clancy/Michael B. Jordan mega-fan, is that on April 23rd, Fire TV customers will get an exclusive sneak peek at the extended trailer for the movie. It will only be available to watch on Fire TV devices. You won’t want to miss it.

Also, on the homescreen on Fire TV you’ll find a “Michael B Jordon Recommends” row which highlights some if his favorite films that he sent to FireTV directly, such as Mission Impossible Fallout, 007 Skyfall, and The Dark Knight.

If you haven’t had a chance to read Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse, don’t fret. The story is incredibly captivating and thrilling, plus with Michael B. Jordan it’s bound to be good. And Jack Ryan fans — it’s actually a spin-off of the film series! Here’s the quick overview of the plot:

• John Kelly (aka John Clark) is a U.S. Navy SEAL who uncovers an international conspiracy while seeking justice for the murder of his pregnant wife by Russian soldiers. When Kelly joins forces with fellow SEAL Karen Greer and shadowy CIA agent Robert Ritter, the mission unwittingly exposes a covert plot that threatens to engulf the U.S. and Russia in an all-out war.

My family has a video chat scheduled for April 30th when Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse releases on Prime Video so that we can all watch it together, but in the meantime I’ve been reading up on the movie — like figuring out what other shows and movies the cast has been in to get myself ready for the release.

The Cast & Crew

As mentioned above, I’m a Michael B. Jordan mega-fan, so even if I wasn’t already a Tom Clancy fan I would 10000% be watching this film. But Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse has an epic cast aside from MBJ:

• Michael B. Jordan as John Clark (Fruitvale Station, Creed, and Black Panther are some of the notable films he’s starred in)
• Jamie Bell as Robert Ritter (you might know him from his roles in Billy Elliot, The Adventures of Tintin, and Fantastic Four)
• Jodie Turner-Smith as Karen Greer (British model and actress who has been in The Last Ship, Nightflyers, and Queen & Slim)
• Luke Mitchell as Rowdy (catch him in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and Blindspot)
• Jack Kesy as Thunder (known for his roles in The Strain, Claws, and Deadpool 2)
• Brett Gelman as Victor Rykov (Actor and comedian best known for Eagleheart, Fleabag, Married, and Stranger Things)
• Colman Domingo as Pastor West (Writer, actor, and director best known for his roles in Euphoria, Fear the Walking Dead, and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom)
• Guy Pearce as Secretary Clay (Known for his roles in The Count of Monte Cristo, The Hurt Locker, The King’s Speech, and Iron Man 3)
• Lauren London as Pam Clark (check her out in ATL, This Christmas, 90210, and Entourage)
• Jacob Scipio as Hatchet (Bad Boys for Life, Some Girls, and The Outpost are some of the notable works he’s been in)
• Cam Gigandet as Keith Webb (Credits include roles in Twilight, Pandorum, Never Back Down, Easy A, and The Magnificent Seven)
• Todd Lasance as Dallas (known for roles on Spartacus: War of the Damned, The Vampire Diaries, and The Flash)

The movie is produced by Akiva Goldsman, Michael B. Jordan, Josh Appelbaum, and Andrew Nemec. Stefano Sollima was hired in December 2018 to direct the film, with Taylor Sheridan rewriting the screenplay.

Whether you’re a Tom Clancy fan or just appreciate a great action/thriller movie, you’re probably going to enjoy Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse. The trailers alone had me sitting on the edge of my seat. Make sure to catch it on Prime Video starting April 30th!
