As a long-time fan of Saturday Night Live, I’m always looking for new shows and appearances featuring my favorites cast members like Jay Pharoah. I love him because he does incredibly spot-on impressions of a lot of my other favorite celebs from SNL — so totally meta. If you haven’t seen it, you need to watch his Barack Obama impression. It’s ridic!

And I’m happy to report Pharoah has a new series available on IMDb called Special Skills! Start streaming it February 25th to discover if Jay has the chops to copy the physical feats of his celebrity expert guests.

Special Skills with Jay Pharoah

Special Skills is an IMDb Original series of funny and informative short-form episodes featuring Jay Pharoah and celebrity legends like skateboarding guru Tony Hawk, world-famous chef Bobby Flay, Olympic Gold-medalist Gabby Douglas, Black-ish star Anthony Anderson, SNL-alum Bobby Moynihan and more.

Basically, Jay is on a mission to become the most versatile actor in the world by building up the “Special Skills” section of his IMDb page. In each of the eight episodes, Pharoah makes a crash-course attempt to learn a new skill, serving as pupil to another celebrity who has already mastered it.

Pharoah kicks off his Special Skills quest with skating legend, Tony Hawk. Will he learn how to master the half-pipe? Check out the first episode here.

He also spends some time with Olympic gold medalist, Gabby Douglas (um, jealous). Can he put together a gymnastics routine that will win him a medal?

And you might also learn a thing or two like how to clean up your golf game with Anthony Anderson or how to make Bobby Flay’s super-bomb lobster mac-n-cheese sprinkled with a mixture of fried breadcrumbs and ground anchovies on top. I can’t wait to make it!

Add it to your watchlist here, and look for new episodes every Tuesday starting February 25 on IMDb.com and IMDb TV.
