Featuring Sergeant Turner (Chandra Russell), her partner Officer Goodnight (Bashir Salahuddin), and local politician Allen Gayle (Diallo Riddle), the series offers a glimpse of the lighter side of life in America’s second city.

A historical epic inspired by the true events that happened in The Kingdom of Dahomey, one of the most powerful states of Africa in the 18th and 19th centuries. Viola Davis stars in this action-packed story of an elite all-female unit of warriors determined to defend their nation. Gina-Prince Bythewood directed this historical film, elevating the action genre to an artform. From its cinematography to choreography and stunts, Woman King is a must see.
